Made it to the Mayo

I got up early this morning. Gave the people I love some love and headed for a flight to Minnesota. Who thought I would ever be in Minnesota. The flight sucked my dad is going with me, he calls this our walk about. He has been very cool lately which I appreciate. He can kind of be an asshole at times, ask my sister but he seems to get that this is better then his need to control situations.
I don't want to name names but the airline we took rhymes with Pelta. We checked in a bag each 20 bucks each. Nice then the seats were so uncomfortable it was like sitting for 3 hours on a bleacher seat at ball game. No comfort or padding. Made it miserable. I bought a book of short stories by Stephen King it is pretty good. Everything at airports is expensive. I got a hot chocolate but they made it a coffee mocha so that sucked since I hate coffee and by the time I realized the switch it was too late. My dad is a little larger now then in the past and the short hour long flight from St Paul to Rochester he kind of took up about 66 percent of the seat leaving me 33 percent of mine.
The hotel is nothing special but they have walkways and subways because the winters are so bad here. You never have to go outside. We are about three blocks from the Mayo Clinic and we used the walkways to get there. There is a mall that is open till 8 but all the shops (and there are quite a few) close at 6 even restaurants like quiznos and subway. Seems strange even the mayo closes at 6 and you can't get in. It hasn't been so bad. so far. Watching my dad figure out the PSP has been great. He is enjoying it though and everything has gone well so far.

Love my family got some good messages from them lately. Thank you for everything. Lets hope tomorrow goes well.
